Hi! I’m Amanda Cashman, the Independent Schools Representative for MAEA. I’m the Visual Arts Specialist at St. Anthony Catholic School in Madison, MS.  I also taught Art for Vicksburg Catholic Schools from 2004-2007 and worked at the Mississippi Museum of Art in the Education Department from 2007-2012. I’ve been a member of MAEA for about ten years. One of my goals as your representative is to increase cooperation and communication between those of us that teach in Independent Schools and to use MAEA as a way for us to share ideas and coordinate learning opportunities between schools.
